The SKODA Superb with Twindoor – a first in the world with technology patented by SKODA – is one of the most striking elements of the car. This multifunction system enables either a small or a large tailgate opening to facilitate easy loading-unloading of small and large baggage. By lifting the rear door including the rear window, the luggage compartment opening almost doubles, therefore making it easy to handle bulky luggage through the exceptionally large opening. The smaller opening of the Twindoor gives easy access to small items stored in the luggage compartment for which the opening of the entire rear door is not required. By lifting the boot lid only, passengers in the cabin remain completely isolated from the luggage compartment and do not have to bear the annoyance of exterior noise, weather and pollution.

The elegant glint of chrome on the car compliments the dynamism of the sharp styling lines. The chrome detailing on the front radiator is complimented by a chrome grille around the lower air dam which serves to softens the aggressive frontal expression lent by the wide piercing headlamps. The strip on the side doors and the window frame carry over the chrome detailing of the front, and reinforce using the ideology of using fine materials. The chrome trim of the lower edge of the boot lid underlines the unique central position of the badges.
