Superb Diesel Engine

TSI Petrol engine

The SKODA Superb is a pioneer of the revolutionary, high-efficiency TSI engine technology in India. The 1.8 Litre, 118 kW TSI engine employs a combination of three advanced technologies-viz startified direct injection, turbocharging and variable valve timing - to develop higher performance than engines with larger capacity. Due to smaller displacement it consumes lesser fuel than engines with larger capacity making it energetic and economical.

TDI CR diesel engine

The new SKODA Superb offers a 2.0 Litre, 103 kW diesel engine with TDI CR technology. The Common Rail fuel injection technology finely atomises the diesel fuel at high pressures of up to 1,800 bars. The high pressure of the CR system significantly improves the combustion of the fuel which results in improved efficiency and lower fuel consumption besides improved wider torque band.

Three Gearbox Options

Three gearbox options

The class leading six-speed manual transmission and seven-speed DSG automatic transmission with tiptronic manual gear changing are offered with the 1.8 TSI petrol engine and the six-speed DSG automatic transmission with tiptronic manual gear changing is offered with diesel engines.
