Your Škoda deserves only a Genuine Škoda Clutch

As an owner of Škoda, you’re probably familiar with excellent drives. But do you know how a Clutch contributes to your drive? The clutch controls accelaration, when pulling away from a complete stop or when pulling away from a complete stop or when driving at lower speed, minimizing the chances of stalling the engine.

Clutches may be worn out for a number of reasons, from improper usage to wear and tear. To get the best from your drive, it is essential that your clutch remains in perfect condition.

In keeping with our commitment toward the benefits of our customers, we have introduced a campaign for various clutch packages for ŠkodaOctavia and ŠkodaLaura cars for a limited period only.

We invite you to avail this opportunity to maintain performance of your car at the authorized Škoda service centers from 15th February 2010 to 15th May 2010.

Clutch Care Tips

• Do not rest your foot on the clutch pedal
• Excess revving of the engine before engaging the clutch may damage the clutch
• Do not drive unnecessarily at too high or too low engine revolutions
• Always drive no more than about one length of your vehicle in first gear
• Always shift up into the next higher gear at approx. 2000 to 2500 engine rpm
• Avoid slipping the clutch especially in slow moving traffic
• Make proper use of handbrake for hill start rather than letting the clutch slip excessively
• Always refer to your car owner's manual for driving tips
• Have your car inspected at authorized Škoda dealer only
