ŠKODA AUTO India introduces ‘Shield Plus’: A six year warranty and hassle-free ownership experience

› Shield Plus will provide customers hassle-free ownership experience and PEACE OF MIND

› A unique segment first initiative, developed within the ‘INDIA 2.0’ customer-centric approach

› ŠKODA Shield Plus incorporates:

    › Extended Warranty for 5th and 6th year or 1,50,000 km (whichever is earlier)

    › ŠKODA Assist (24 x 7 Road Side Assistance) for 5th and 6th year

    › ŠKODA Insurance: 1st year comprehensive motor insurance, and 3 years of third party coverage

› ŠKODA AUTO had previously introduced India’s first 4 year Service Care: 4 year Warranty, 4 year Road Side Assistance and optional 4 year Maintenance Package

› Shield Plus is also available for existing customers whose ŠKODA vehicles are covered under the four year warranty program

 
Mumbai, 19 February 2019: ŠKODA AUTO India introduces the ŠKODA Shield Plus, a segment first initiative to ensure six years of hassle-free ownership experience. The unique all-inclusive proposition designed under the ‘INDIA 2.0’ project improves transparency with the customer and enhances the overall ownership experience with the brand. The ŠKODA Shield Plus includes Motor Insurance, 24 x 7 Road Side Assistance and an Extended Warranty; and is available across the model range: RAPID, OCTAVIA, SUPERB and KODIAQ.


› ŠKODA Insurance: ŠKODA Shield Plus gives you an array of benefits, value for money and prompt personal service in the event of a claim. It includes the first year of comprehensive insurance and three subsequent years of the third party coverage.

› ŠKODA Assist (24 x 7 Road Side Assistance): ŠKODA Shield Plus offers a 24x7 reliable roadside assistance to customers for the fifth and sixth year. If a ŠKODA vehicle is immobilized for any reason (including mechanical/electrical failure, flat/weak battery, flat tyre, fuel exhaustion, mislaid key, breakdown, and accident) a phone call to ŠKODA Assistance will provide timely assistance nationwide.

› Extended Warranty: ŠKODA Shield Plus ensures a hassle-free warranty service which now spans for an additional period of the fifth and sixth year or 1,50,000 kilometres (whichever is earlier) from the date of purchase of a ŠKODA vehicle.

4 X 4 X 4 Service Care Package

ŠKODA previously introduced India’s first 4 year service care program which consists of a 4 year warranty program and a 4 year (24 x 7) Road Side Assistance which is standard on all ŠKODA vehicles. Additionally, customers have an option to purchase a 4 year service package at an attractive price which ensures a hassle-free ownership experience.
