The new ŠKODA Media Command App with BossConnect allows you to control the infotainment system on your phone. This feature is integrated into the Amundsen infotainment system and the new ŠKODA App, even allowing people in the back to operate the functions using their smart device.
With the SmartLink system (ŠKODA Connectivity bundle supporting MirrorLink®, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto), the car’s infotainment system enables the driver to safely use the phone while driving. Plus, all installed applications that are certified as safe for vehicles are compatible with MirrorLink®, Apple CarPlay or Android Auto.
The top-range navigation and entertainment center features a sharp and vibrant 8" colour touch-screen to display maps and other functions. It also offers a USB/Aux-in connection, SD card slot, Bluetooth, SmartLink Connectivity. The device can be used to control the car menu.
OneApp is a versatile application grouping together an array of useful assists. OneApp not only helps you to stay on top of the vehicle status and current driving data, but can also be used as a multimedia tool, for navigation, or to check the weather forecast. Smart widgets let you customise the application to reflect your personal preferences.
Enjoy absolute sound clarity, whether it’s music or the spoken word, on the Canton Sound System with ten speakers, including a speaker in the dashboard and subwoofer in the luggage compartment. The total power output is 575 W.
Once activated, the accelerator pedal response slows, among other things. Auto Hold helps the driver in critical situations.
Snow mode is part of Driving Mode Select. When this mode is selected, the systems are adjusted to handle the car on a snowy or slippery road. For example, the ASR system will increase the allowed wheel spin, improving traction and increasing the power steering effect.
