ŠKODA India introduces the ‘MyŠKODA’ mobile App

ŠKODA Auto India has launched the ‘MyŠKODA‘ mobile application (app) which will provide a single-window interface between a ŠKODA customer and the brand.

Mumbai, 3rd October 2016: ŠKODA Auto India has launched the ‘MyŠKODA‘ mobile application (app) which will provide a single-window interface between a ŠKODA customer and the brand. The app facilitates utmost transparency and provides a hassle-free ownership experience for every ŠKODA owner. ‘MyŠKODA' is available for download on the iTunes App Store for iPhone and Google Play store for Android devices.

The MyŠKODA App connects ŠKODA Owners with ŠKODA India's digital ecosystem and provides access to the entire service history of their vehicle. Importantly, the app will allow customers to know the cost of various parts and also estimate the cost of each service. The app will also host a number of other features including booking a service appointment, locating a dealer and connecting to ŠKODA ’s Customer Care team.

The app aids ŠKODA owners to remotely monitor their car’s service cycle, Warranty, Insurance & Road-Side Assistance expiry dates. ŠKODA owners can also easily update their personal details, store important ownership-related documents, refer to previous jobs carried out on the car, receive important notifications while browsing through the app. Any update made through the app gets registered in the ŠKODA database.

The introduction of the MyŠKODA application is part of ŠKODA ’s effort to digitize the entire ownership experience with the brand. ŠKODA India is also modernizing the appearance of its dealer network and introducing many customer led initiatives as part of this transformation. ŠKODA India is geared to usher in a complete brand overhaul in a bid to strengthen its position in India.

MyŠKODA Mobile Application Highlights:

Manage your ŠKODA Car/s
The MyGarage feature gives ŠKODA customers details about their vehicles such as Service Due Date, Insurance, Warranty, Extended Warranty, Road Side Assistance and other Maintenance schemes. MyGarage also provides owners with an option to view and update their contact details so they can be contacted by ŠKODA at any given point for important updates.

Go paperless with digital document repository
The MyDocuments section is a one stop repository that helps customers keep a tab on all important documents like Registration Certificates, Insurance Policies, PUC Certificates, Road Side Assistance among other important documents.

Service History, Booking Appointment and Service Cost Calculators at the fingertips
Using the MyŠKODA App owners can now book a service with the touch of a button. The feature requests users to enter the preffered dealer, service date and type of service post which a ŠKODA representative contacts them to confirm the booking. Customers can also mention service concerns in a designated section that will allow them to detail specific issues. Customers will also get periodic notifications through the app.

The service history section presents the entire vehicle‘s history on a mobile screen. In this section customers can not only access their car service history on the go but can also email itemized service bills to themselves for easy reference. Customers also have the option to calculate and estimate their service costs before visiting the dealership. The Service Cost Calculator will make the entire service experience completely transparent.

Evaluate the cost of ownership with Fuel and Trip Cost Calculators
The fuel cost calculator will help keep a track of routine fuel expenses. All a customer needs to do is, add the amount spent, the quantity of fuel and enter the date the car was fuelled. The app will then maintain a log of the cost and mileage which can be reviewed at any time. Another innovative feature is the trip cost calculator which helps owners keep a day-wise tab of their trip costs.

Find your nearest Dealer with GPS enabled Dealer Locater
The GPS-enabled Dealer locater will enable customers to use smartphone technology to locate their nearest dealers while traveling through the country and also be able to contact them.

Know Your ŠKODA has an answer to all queries
