• Opens its first Full-Function facility in Hubballi and its 12th sales touchpoint in Bengaluru

• Activates a total of six touchpoints in the South in 2024 alone: Hyderabad (Gachibowli), Chennai (Guduvancheri), Warangal, Udupi, Bengaluru (Varthur) & Hubballi

• Plans to activate few more touchpoints in South India in 2024

Bengaluru, September 21, 2024 – Škoda Auto India inaugurated two new, state-of-the-art dealerships in Karnataka. The company opened its account in Hubballi and its 12th sales touchpoint in Varthur, Bengaluru. With this, the company has activated six touchpoints in southern India alone in 2024 [Hyderabad (Gachibowli), Chennai (Guduvancheri), Warangal, Udupi, Bengaluru (Varthur) & Hubballi] making it Škoda Auto India’s largest expansion in the south region so far. Škoda plans to open few more touchpoints in South India in the coming months. The dealership in Hubballi is located at Bairidevarkoppa in the city. And the one in Bengaluru is in the prime Brookfield locality in India’s tech capital. Both are in partnership with Raja Motors.

Commenting on the inauguration of the new facilities, Mr. Petr Janeba, Brand Director, Škoda Auto India said, “India is the most important market for Škoda outside Europe. Our all-new SUV, Kylaq will see Škoda Auto India enter new markets and attract new Customers into the Škoda family. During the announcement of the Kylaq, we had committed to enhancing our workforce on all fronts, increasing our sales personnel, with new, pioneering formats to engage with our new and existing Customers, and fuel our New Era in India. These dealer inaugurations are part of this strategy, and there will be many more such network actions in the coming months.”

Hubballi

In unison with Raja Motors, Škoda Auto India’s Hubballi Full Function Dealership is the manufacturer’s first in the city. It is spread over 1,853 sq. mtr and houses Sales & Aftersales facilities. It is in line with Škoda Auto’s new corporate identity and is fully digitalised.

Bengaluru

The new facility in partnership with Raja Motors is the company’s 12th sales touchpoint in the city. Occupying 208 sq. mtr of space, this state-of-the-art Sales centre houses a four-car display floor.

The New Era

From 120 touchpoints in 2021, Škoda Auto India has expanded its network to over 260 touchpoints, with the latest inaugurations in Hubballi and Bengaluru carrying forward the network momentum for the company. In its endeavour to expand its reach further and getting closer to Customers, the company is swiftly progressing towards its target for 320 touchpoints by the time the Kylaq is launched ushering in the New Era in India for Škoda Auto.
